Over the past year, the City has been working with residents, business owners, regional partners, other stakeholders, and a consultant team on an exciting project to prepare a master plan for the area around the Rio Tinto Stadium. The purpose of the master plan is to provide guidance for future development, including the street network, building placement, open space, and land uses.
Review the drafts here between May 1-8, 2019: PART I DRAFT | PART 2 DRAFT. The plan will also be presented to the public in an open house that will be held on May 7th at 7:00 PM in the Multipurpose Room at City Hall. The public is encouraged to review the plan and provide feedback.
Comments may be provided online at sandy.utah.gov/stadiumvillage between May 1-8, by attending the open house on May 7th, or by contacting Jake Warner (Sandy City) or Mike Hathorne (consultant).
