Jr Firefighter Academy

Sandy City Fire Department knows that many children dream of someday becoming a firefighter. We want to use that enthusiasm to teach kids about fire safety and to give them an insider's view of what life as a firefighter is really like!

June 9-11, 2020 from 9AM to noon each day
                              or
August 4-6, 2020 from 9AM to noon each day

The class is $35 for Sandy residents/ $45 for non-Sandy residents

"Sound the Alarm" Program

Sandy City Fire Department has partnered with the American Red Cross with the goal to install 1,000 smoke alarms in Sandy residents by October. If you are a Sandy resident and are in need of smoke alarms, please call (801) 568-2930.
