Post-Construction Storm Water Maintenance Agreement (PCMA) and Plan (PCMP)

    • Note that where possible, PCMPs should be only one page
  • Guidance:
    • Use PCMA Review Checklist (see above) to verify all required information
    • Use most current PCMA template (see above)
    • Follow PCMP example provided (see above)
    • Show existing City storm drain system at location of development accurately
    • PCMP must be provided on at least 11" x 17" size drawing
    • Best Management Practices (BMPs) must be identified on the PCMP
    • All storm drain system elements must be clearly shown on the PCMP
      • Private and public storm drain system distinguished (not just by color for when it is copied)
      • Pipe sizes and material labeled
      • Features shown and labeled appropriately (oil/water separator, inlets, pipes, detention/retention, orifice plate, etc.)
    • Provide Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that will be followed (or reference SOPs that are provided on Sandy City Storm Water Management Program webpage)
    • Provide statement on PCMP that "Owner of private property will maintain all private storm drainage facilities."
    • Provide statement on PCMP that owner will "Complete an annual inspection of storm drain facilities using the inspection report in Exhibit B and submit to Sandy City Public Utilities."
    • Where required, provide documentation of State Underground Injection Control (UIC) approval (see information below)

* Note that the agreement should be signed and notarized after the agreement and plan have been reviewed and approved
